An unexpected view

This is a shot from the top of a chair lift up at Durango Mountain Resort. We took the lifts up, and rode our bikes down.

It costs $15 a day, for as many rides up as you want. The trails are rough, and not well kept. I think they're not used much, so they were very rocky.

We are finally getting some rain out here. It has been raining in the afternoons all week. This has definitely helped my lawn. Speaking of which, I finally gave in and had to use chemicals on my lawn. I know, I said I would try never to do that; but I wasn't counting on the ant infestation. I never realized how damaging these things are. The pretty much destroyed the root system on my lawn. That is the reason my front lawn looks more like a sand trap than the golf green. The lawn is definitely a work in progress. The reason is money. I figured I will wait until the market gets better to sell anyway, so I am taking my time. Instead of paying to have the berms I built raked and covered in mulch, I think I will let the snow compress and settle them first. I think this will save me money in the long run.

My suggestion; buy a condo. I see my friends with condos walking downtown in flip-flops, hanging out on weekends. Not me, I am in jeans and work gloves hunched over some f_ckin' hole that the dogs decided to dig in the back yard. Bastidos!
