A Regular Bob Villa..

I ordered a custom sliding window to go next to the front door I installed on the house. Removing a window is not easy. Especially when the F*%*$!! A*H*LES who built this house originally cut just about every corner they could (and then some). I could just picture the conversation
New York wise-guy accent: "Hey, we ran out of finishing nails...forgettaboutit, just use roofing nails on the whole fricken place."

Good thing I am putting the time and money into this place to make it right.

So, when smashing out a glass window let me give advise. First, smash to the outside so clean up is easier. Next, Duct tape on the INSIDE of the glass to reduce shatter. I did this one wrong and the glass sprung back at me. $*&*$&@!! more to clean up that's all.

The window itself looks good from the inside. The outside needs a custom trim job. I have to rip a 2X4 to the correct cut for the trim to fit...blah...another day. If you ain't ready to spend Sunday afternoon doing shit like this; don't buy a house.
