A Hint of What's to Come...

So as you may know...we re-sided and painted the house. I cannot take all the credit for this, it is due to Rick, Korene, Chanda and even Cooper (what?...he guarded the work site you know). So i have a picture of the house on the day I moved in, and then the new look.

The second photo is with the T111 siding, and the ugly old rust colored siding. Notice the brick (who thought that was a good idea?) that Chanda removed. The Entry-way,screen and that freakin' ugly satellite dish are next.

I know, your thinking that the grass looks worse now; it does. We had a drought and I was not about to pay to water this lot. It is all getting redone next spring anyway.

Tour De What?

Today was the Tour De Fat in Durango. This is a festival of freaks put on by New Belgium Brewery. I must say, it was a great success. For all the festivals in Durango, this one is put together so well. Organized and clean. There were no garbage cans because the sponsors were making a compost pile with all the garbage and pledged to recycle everything used at the festival.
