A day in the woods

Reiley and I went snow-shoeing today in Pagosa Springs. We took the Turkey Creek Trail where all the skiing and snow-shoeing trails are. What a beautiful area. It is truly a part of the continental US where you can feel lost in the woods.

After stopping and just listening to the silence, I forgot about work. For me, that's and accomplishment. Reiley just stood still and was sniffing the cold air. He's tired and snoring at my feet right now.

He doesn't know it yet, but he gets to play at the dog park tomorrow. (better get your rest little guy!)
